Curriculum Delivery

Interactive Learning

OUM blends real-time interactive virtual classrooms, online curriculum materials, and traditional face-to-face learning to deliver its hybrid curriculum. Moodle and Zoom applications are used to deliver the curriculum, and the Examplify exam proctoring software monitors all testing and maintains exam integrity.

The Virtual Classroom

Zoom provides real-time online learning and student-teacher interaction in a live classroom environment. All lectures are recorded for study review and future reference.

LMS

OUM’s curriculum delivery learning management system is Moodle, the well-established and user-friendly education software/course content program tailored to maximize efficiency for students.

Online Textbooks

OUM uses the Elsevier products ClinicalKey and ClinicalKey Student for its online textbooks, videos, and journal articles, also providing unique features like the ability to jump chapters, highlight text, create flashcards, or have a book read aloud.

Technology Requirements

Students must have access to a reliable computer with high-speed Internet that is free from viruses and is Java-enabled. Additional recommendations for both Mac and PC devices are available from the Admissions Counselors.
