OUM Zoom Webinar Event

Join us to hear from OUM’s Acting Dean for Samoa, American Samoa, Aotearoa New Zealand, and the Asia Pacific about how OUM is equipping the next generation of doctors to meet the evolving healthcare needs of their communities—at home and abroad. Dr. Vikas Sethi serves as the Acting Dean for Samoa, American Samoa, Aotearoa New Zealand, and the Asia Pacific at OUM, where he also holds the roles of Clinical Coordinator for Aotearoa New Zealand and Clinical Core Course Specialist in Family Medicine.

The number of Samoan students joining the OUM community has grown significantly since 2023—and this upward trend is only expected to continue. In response, OUM has expanded its team of highly qualified faculty to ensure our students in Samoa receive exceptional support. This investment also benefits students from Australia, Aotearoa New Zealand, Canada, and the US who travel to Samoa for their required four-week elective at TTM Hospital.

But our commitment doesn’t stop there. Across Aotearoa New Zealand and Australia, OUM continues to strengthen its presence by collaborating with local healthcare leaders, expanding clinical opportunities, and enhancing student support services to prepare future physicians for the unique healthcare challenges within these regions.

NOTE: Q&A time is worked into each session. Attendees are encouraged to submit questions via the chat box throughout the live webinar. Moderators do their best to address each and every question during the session.
