• Certified or Official College/University Transcripts: These must be from all institutions attended. Official transcripts should come directly from the institution or an approved verification service. Uncertified copies sent directly by the applicant will not be accepted. Some international transcripts may require a formal evaluation report to meet medical school application requirements. Please ensure you submit your transcripts in a timely manner after starting your application to ensure your transcripts are able to be reviewed prior to the application deadline.
• English Proficiency Confirmation: Required for international applicants whose first language is not English and who have not studied in English previously.
• Essay: An essay of approximately 1,000 words, telling us why you want to become a medical doctor.
• Letters of Recommendation: Three signed and dated original letters of recommendation, with at least one from a medical doctor.
• A Current Professional Résumé or CV
• Valid Government-issued Photo ID: A current, official government-issued photo ID. For example, driver’s license or passport data page.
• Non-refundable $250 Application Fee: This fee is paid in the home country’s currency by residents in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Samoa, and the US (including American Samoa).

• The items listed above are required to apply to the OUM MD program.
• Please complete all fields in the application.
• The application is designed to save your information so you may complete it in more than one sitting.
• Please also see the Admissions Policies page for additional information. Note: Accepted Applicants may defer for only one Intake, and only to the next available Intake. Applicants who do not wish to register in the next Intake must reapply.
• For applicants re-applying to the program a new and complete application with all required supporting documents must be submitted.

To ensure a smooth admissions process and timely consideration of your application to the OUM MD program, it is crucial to submit a complete application by the application deadline. An incomplete application, lacking any of the following required components, will be deemed incomplete:

• All Certified or Official College/University Transcripts
• Confirmation of English Proficiency
• Essay
• 3 Letters of Recommendation signed and dated (at least one of them must be written by a medical doctor)
• Professional Résumé/CV
• Government Issued ID
• Non-refundable $250 Application Fee

Submitting an application without any of these required documents will result in it being deemed incomplete, meaning your application will not be considered for admission into OUM’s MD program for that intake. Applicants may defer their application for only one Intake, and only to the next available Intake. Applicants who do not wish to register for the next Intake must reapply by submitting a new application.
