Dr Satupaitea (Satu) Viali is a Specialist Physician and Cardiologist in Samoa. From 2002 to 2008 he was OUM’s Professor and Dean, and in 2007, he was on hand to congratulate OUM’s first graduates. Professor Viali rejoined OUM as Interim Dean of Samoa and the Asia Pacific and Professor of Medicine in May 2023. In addition to his new roles at OUM, Professor Viali is Professor of Medicine, National University of Samoa (NUS) School of Medicine; Cardiologist & Consultant Physician in the Medical Specialist & Cardiologist Practice, Tuloto, Togafuafua, Apia, Samoa; and Visiting Cardiologist and Consultant Physician in the Medical Ward, Cardiology Clinics, and the National Rheumatic Fever and Rheumatic Heart Disease Program at TTM Hospital. He has published in peer-reviewed journals on rheumatic fever and rheumatic heart disease, non-communicable diseases, diabetes, metabolic syndrome, and other topics. Dr. Viali earned both his Bachelor of Human Biology and his medical degree at the Auckland Medical School, University of Auckland, New Zealand.

Bio
Dr. Kerrie MacDonald is a highly respected paediatrician with over 30 years of experience in both private and public healthcare settings. Based in Goulburn, New South Wales, she has been serving the local community for nearly two decades, providing expert care in developmental and behavioural paediatrics as well as paediatric mental health.
A graduate of the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Dr. MacDonald is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP), recognized for her dedication to improving children’s health and well-being. She is known for her compassionate approach, working closely with families to develop personalized treatment plans that address both medical and developmental needs.
Dr. MacDonald consults monthly, offering specialized care for conditions such as autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, and anxiety disorders in children. Her commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements ensures that her patients receive the highest standard of care.
Frederick Patrice MD, FACS

Bio
Dr. Patrice Frederick is a highly accomplished board-certified general surgeon with over 21 years of experience. Holding the prestigious designation of Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), she has demonstrated a commitment to surgical excellence and patient-centered care. Dr. Frederick currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine, where she leads the GI/Renal module for second-year medical students and plays a key role in curriculum development and mentorship. She also practices at the Orlando VA Healthcare System. Previously, she held the position of Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Illinois College of Medicine, where she also served as Associate Program Director for the General Surgery Residency Program.
Her academic contributions include numerous peer-reviewed publications and book chapters in minimally invasive and robotic surgery. Dr. Frederick has received several prestigious awards, such as the Olga Jonasson Teaching Attending of the Year and the Helen O. Dickens MD Alumni Award for Leadership and Service. A passionate mentor and advocate for diversity in medicine, she has supported medical student general surgery interest groups and the Urban Health Program, and she continues to advance surgical education through her leadership in simulation-based training. In addition, she is joining OUM as a Clinical Core Course Specialist – Surgery, furthering her dedication to surgical education and mentorship.
Mayne Marilyn DO

Dr. Marilyn Mayne is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist with over 25 years of experience in women’s health care. She earned her medical degree from NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine and has dedicated her career to providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecological services. Dr. Mayne has been affiliated with AdventHealth Orlando and AdventHealth Waterman, where she has specialized in treating a wide range of conditions, including hysterectomy procedures. Her expertise spans general obstetrics and gynecology, with a strong focus on patient-centered care and medical education.
Now joining OUM as a Clinical Core Course Specialist – Obstetrics & Gynecology, Dr. Mayne brings her extensive knowledge and experience to support the next generation of medical professionals. She is committed to advancing medical education and mentoring students in the field of obstetrics and gynecology.
Schultz Harley MD, MBA, FACP

Bio
Dr. Harley Schultz is a board-certified internist with over 40 years of experience in general internal medicine. He earned his medical degree from New York University Grossman School of Medicine and completed his residency at SUNY Buffalo. Throughout his career, he has held leadership positions, including serving as Chief of Comprehensive Ambulatory Care at Long Beach VAMC and running a successful private practice for over three decades.
Dr. Schultz has been actively involved in medical education, serving as Adjunct Clinical Faculty at Touro University California. His expertise spans primary care, internal medicine, and patient advocacy, with a strong commitment to mentoring future physicians. Now joining OUM as a Clinical Core Course Specialist – Internal Medicine, Dr. Schultz brings his extensive knowledge and experience to support medical students in their journey toward becoming skilled healthcare professionals.
Snyder Richard DO, MA

Bio
Dr. Richard W. Snyder is a board certified internist and nephrologist with extensive experience in undergraduate and graduate medical education. He earned his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, completed his Internal Medicine Residency Training at Abington Memorial Hospital, and his nephrology clinical and research fellowship training at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Throughout his career in undergraduate and graduate medical education spanning over two decades, Dr. Snyder has been a passionate educator for medical students and medical residents in several roles including Medical Student Clerkship Director, Core Faculty and Associate Program Director in residency programs in Internal Medicine, as well as Program Director for Internal Medicine and Transitional Year Residency Programs. He is also a prolific writer having written education focused books in test preparation for nursing students and physician assistant students, as well as patient focused books in the areas of kidney disease, liver disease, hypertension, medication safety, and dialysis. A second edition of his book on kidney disease is slated for publication in January 2026 and he is currently working on a book on pharmacology. His expertise spans nephrology, internal medicine and academic research with a focus on distance education and virtual patient care, with a strong commitment to advancing patient care and medical education.
Now joining OUM as a Clinical Core Course Specialist-Internal Medicine, Dr. Snyder brings his wealth of knowledge and expertise to support medical students in their journey toward becoming skilled healthcare professionals.
Windish Ryan MD

Clinical Core Course Specialist (Emergency Medicine)
Bio
Dr. Ryan Windish is a senior staff specialist in emergency medicine at the Prince Charles Hospital Emergency Department in Brisbane, Australia. He trained in the United States, completing his specialist training in Denver, Colorado, and holds fellowships with both the American and Australasian Colleges for Emergency Medicine. He also holds a postgraduate diploma in medical toxicology from Cardiff University.
Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Windish is actively involved in medical education. He is a Clinical Core Course Specialist in Emergency Medicine at Oceania University of Medicine (OUM), mentoring medical students. He also serves as an associate professor at QUT, a senior lecturer at the University of Queensland, and contributes to research at the Royal Brisbane Hospital’s Jamieson Trauma Institute.
Rough Elisa MBBS, FRACP

Bio
Prior to joining OUM, Dr. Rough was a General and Developmental Behavioral Pediatrician at Surrey Hills Pediatrics, where OUM students have also rotated. She has taught in the Wellbeing Program at Monash University and has particular interests in both teaching and community pediatrics. Dr. Rough earned her MBBS from the University of Melbourne and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
Ravikumar Madan MBBS, FRACP

Clinical Core Course Specialist (Internal Medicine)
Bio
Dr. Ravikumar is a Consultant GP at Maroondah Hospital in Melbourne and a Consultant GP and Geriatrician at Knox and Ringwood Private Hospitals in Melbourne and at Victorian Rehabilitation Center. He has also been Adjunct Senior Lecturer at Monash University Eastern Health Clinical School. Dr. Ravikumar earned his MBBS from Stanley Medical College at Madras University in India and his post-graduate fellowship (FRACP) from the Royal Australian College of Physicians with dual training in General and Geriatric Medicine. He has been a third-year OSCE examiner at Monash and Deakin Universities and a clinical trainee/local examiner for the RACP.
Lee-Lovick Andrew MBBS, FRANZCP (Child and Adol Psych), BSc

Clinical Core Course Specialist (Psychiatry)
Bio
Dr. Lee-Lovick is a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist for the Queensland Children’s Hospital in Brisbane and also works in private practice. He has previously supervised medical students, trained registrars, and has delivered lectures to a variety of medical/non-medical professionals. He earned his medical degree from the University of Queensland in Australia and also completed his Psychiatry Fellowship Training in the region. His particular interests include clinical education, telepsychiatry, and improving mental health of youth across rural and remote Australia.

Bio
Associate Professor Siles earned his medical degree from Melbourne University in 1984, specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology and sub-specializing in Sonology as an ultrasound specialist. His ultrasound training commenced in Sydney and was completed at Oxford and King’s College London, where he worked with Professor Kypros Nicolaides, founder of the Nuchal Translucency Fetal Maternal Medicine Foundation, during the world-recognized Down Syndrome screening program development. While in Sydney, Dr. Siles also completed qualifications in Bioethics and was awarded a Fellow of the College of Legal Medicine as a founding member.
Khoujah Danya MBBS, MEHP

Bio
Dr. Khoujah was born and raised in Saudi Arabia, completing her medical degree at the King Abdulaziz University College of Medicine. She completed her residency training in Emergency Medicine at the University of Maryland Medical Center, followed by a Faculty Development Fellowship. She earned a Master of Education in Health Professions at Johns Hopkins University in 2020, and her interests include medical education, geriatrics, and neurologic emergencies.

Harmonee Dove is the Chief of Staff at OUM and an Accredited Exercise Physiologist with extensive clinical and leadership expertise. She holds a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science and accreditation with Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA). Before joining OUM, Harmonee co-founded Metacare Australia, an innovative referral hub designed to simplify and strengthen the collaboration between general practitioners and allied health professionals. Her entrepreneurial vision and commitment to improving healthcare processes have notably enhanced patient experiences and outcomes.
At OUM, Harmonee plays a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and advancing strategic initiatives, directly contributing to the university’s mission of delivering exceptional medical education. Her extensive background in exercise physiology, combined with her proven capability in healthcare innovation, uniquely positions her to effectively connect clinical practice with strategic leadership objectives. Passionate about healthcare innovation, Harmonee actively champions meaningful collaboration and integrated healthcare delivery, aligning closely with OUM’s core objective of training competent, compassionate healthcare professionals dedicated to improving health outcomes in underserved communities across diverse global landscapes.
Robertson Suzi BTax, CPA

Ms. Robertson is a senior finance professional with a focus on risk and compliance and over 20 years of experience in the Australian Taxation Office (ATO). She also brings to OUM extensive knowledge in financial management, data analysis, and organizational capability development. In her first career, she spent 15 years as a secondary school teacher, focusing on understanding how people acquire information. She is a hands-on leader with a passion for coaching and mentoring others to reach their true professional potential.
Robinson Khrystal MD, MSc (HIM)

Bio
Dr. Robinson has been on the OUM faculty since 2015 in several capacities, as a Dean for North America and Director of Clinical Education and Faculty, an Assistant Professor of Medicine, and Academic Advisor. In addition to her MD, Dr. Robinson earned a Master of Science in Health Informatics Management from the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa, Florida. She has extensive experience with electronic medical records systems/telemedicine, e-learning technologies, and database analytics. In 2018 Dr. Robinson was a Chief Medical Information Officer at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital System (PMHS) in Missouri (US), having been an active clinician at ten rural health centers and two urgent care centers within the PMHS.

With his experience as an Intellectual Property attorney and as co-founder and CIO of a nationally recognized distance education company, together with extensive knowledge of software platforms and administrations and full-stack application development and integration, Mr. Beber brings a common-sense business approach to systems architecture, workflow design, and user interface/experience. His involvement in any project ensures that all components will fit well and maximize efficiency and usability. Mr. Beber graduated from Harvard University and holds a JD Cum Laude from Vermont Law School.
Beber Grace BSc, MAOD

Chief Marketing Officer
Bio
Ms. Beber is the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at OUM, bringing over 20 years of leadership experience in higher education and IT. As a brand strategist and content creator, she has led diverse teams across the United States, Indonesia, and Europe, specializing in marketing, communications, and organizational development. Ms. Beber holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Development from Alliant International University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Santa Clara University, both in California. Prior to joining OUM, she served as a Senior Project Manager at Gartner Inc., a leading IT research and advisory firm, where she led communications and marketing strategies in the international consulting division and managed flagship events. In that role, she gained extensive expertise in change management, training and curriculum development, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory compliance. At OUM, Ms. Beber leads the Marketing, Communications, and Admissions teams, building expertise in marketing, recruitment, social media, and content development to drive brand growth and institutional success.
